History
Tu Manu Ae Le Tu Logologo A'oga Amata (Tu Manu), located in Papakura, was established by the Papakura Pacific Islanders Presbyterian Church (PIPC) in 1986.
Its humble beginnings began as a playgroup set up inside the Church Minister's garage. It started with only a few children, mainly from the PIPC Sunday school and Sunday school teachers whom were initially members of the Church's Women's Fellowship and offered to care, nurture & educate the children in the Gagana Samoa.
At present the Centre is managed by members selected by the PIPC and community.
